This season brings a fresh start for the Cubs volleyball program, with much of last year’s team having graduated. The squad may be young, but they’ll be anchored by returning varsity seniors, who bring valuable experience and leadership to the court. The season opener will be a rematch against Platte Valley — a powerhouse last year, but now retooling after the loss of key seniors. It promises to be a competitive and exciting start.

One of the early season highlights will be the third matchup against Windsor, a strong opponent with much of its roster returning. The Cubs are expected to rise to the challenge in what should be a tightly contested game. Toward the end of the season, fans can look forward to back-to-back in-town rivalries, adding some extra excitement and hometown pride to the schedule. With a mix of new talent and seasoned leadership, this year’s Cubs team is ready to make its mark.
