I played volleyball growing up in Granby, Colorado. I played in an All-State game and never stopped loving the game. I attended the University of Northern Colorado where I majored in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Physical Education. My coaching began with Frontier Academy in Greeley, Colorado. I grew the program and helped them become CHSAA sanctioned. Their first year of eligibility, they made it into the state tournament. I moved back to Granby where I coached Middle Park High School. We consistently made it into Regionals but could never seal the deal for the state tournament. I was voted as Coach of the Year in 2014 for the Frontier League. I followed my own children down the hill and found one of my favorite teaching and coaching spots of all time. Pinnacle Charter School was filled with student athletes that devoted themselves to be the best they could be at any task. The Timberwolves Volleyball Team went from last in the Frontier League to making it into Regionals in 2017. I was voted by my peers as Coach of the year in 2017 as well. I moved to the Big Island of Hawaii in 2018 where I taught and coached at Waimea Middle School.
